Which type of membership is right for you?

AHP is the definitive authority on health care philanthropy. We provide opportunities to network and connect with like-minded fundraising professionals. We disseminate advanced research on healthcare philanthropy trends, organizational benchmarking, and salary professional development, research, networking. We believe philanthropy connects people and enriches lives. 

AHP member benefits include in-person networking at several targeted conferences and the AHP International conference, an online members- only community for peer discussions and sharing, publications such as the AHP journal, Healthcare Philanthropy, the biennial Salary and Benefits report, our Annual Report on Giving, AHP’s online resource center and resource librarian, educational opportunities like the Madison Institute and AHP Webinar Series, discounts on CFRE classes and exams, and more.

Individual Member

This membership option is for individuals directly involved in fundraising who are employed by any voluntary, not-for-profit, or governmental health care organization or institution.

Dues are $498 per year. Individual membership is non-transferable.

Institutional Member

For any voluntary, not-for-profit, or governmental health care organization or institution. The membership dues are based on the number of development professionals on staff.

Institutional Member

Affiliate Member

For companies, organizations, or individuals who provide consulting or other specialty services to health care institutions or health-related organizations. The membership dues are based on the number of staff who should receive access to membership benefits.

Affiliate Member

Associate Member

For development professionals outside North America, along with students, board members and others not eligible for Individual, Institutional or Affiliate membership. Individuals who join through this program receive the full range of membership benefits, with the exception of the AHP Journal that is provided in digital format and ineligibility to vote.
