The Philanthropy Champions program has provided successful strategies for partnering with physicians and nurses on grateful patient philanthropy. We are equipping our Philanthropy Champions to: -recognize when patients may be interested in supporting our mission -to respond appropriately -refer interested families to our advancement team The results are dramatically increased referrals from champions and dollars raised. Champions are also playing an important role in building an institutional climate where patient giving is understood and promoted.
