2020 has brought tremendous change to our community and our world, from unprecedented health pandemics to important racial equity and social justice movements. While we all hope the future will be filled with much more positive news and change, there will always be challenges that can impact our important work. During this virtual training, you’ll benefit from learning how UW Medicine Advancement, at the earliest epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak, rapidly responded by delivering vital philanthropic support and important personal protective equipment to frontline caregivers. UW Medicine Advancement leaders will share their strategies and lessons learned relating to innovative fundraising, inspiring and motivating their team to work at an intense sustained pace, and preparing for the future--all while working primarily remotely.
